  • Vegetable oil for sautéing

Once your ingredients are prepped, combine all of the vegetables, eggs, and shrimp in a bowl and mix well. To make the dressing, you’ll need:

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons of lime juice
  • 4 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 4 tablespoons of tamarind juice
  • 2 tablespoons of palm sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of fried shallots
  • 1 teaspoon of shrimp paste
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Mix all of the ingredients together in a pan over medium heat until they are thoroughly combined, and then pour the dressing over the salad and mix it all together. Give your finished Gado-Gado a taste, and add more seasoning or sugar if desired. Serve it chilled or at room temperature and enjoy your delicious meal!
