Let this simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked through. Lastly, remove the pandan leaves and enjoy the deliciousness of this Nasi Uduk Spesial dish!
2. Resep Masakan Ala Bunda
This delightfully simple meal is packed with flavorful goodness and sure to curb those cravings straight away. An effortless yet tasty combination of fried chicken, omelette, Indonesian fried tofu and empal gepuk (beef steak). Here’s what you need:
- 500 grams of chicken cubes
- 10 pieces of fried tofu
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons of oil for frying
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, sliced
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- 50 grams of beef steak, diced
- 3 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
To start, begin by marinating the chicken in salt and pepper. Next, fry the chicken cubes until golden brown and set aside. In the same pot, add the egg, onion and garlic. Fry until the egg is half-cooked and then add in the tofu and fry until all ingredients are cooked through. Then, add the coriander powder and the beef steak. Add water and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Let this cook for 15 minutes and then serve your delicious
